VSE Link Tester needs very long to test my large web site

VSE Link Tester allows you to set some speed factors in the "Remote links" panel in the "Edit Link" dialog. You can also speed up things by allocation more memory to VSE Link Tester. The more memory you allocate to VSE Link Tester, the faster the link test will be.

I often get the message "an error has occured while opening the connection"

If you experience many errors like "An error has occured while opening the connection. Maybe the server did not answer." you should set the enter a higher delay and fewer concurrent links in the "Edit Link" dialog. This often helps. The problem is that the server cannot handle many requests at the same time.

When I click on "Show report", Netscape Navigator tells me that it connot find the file

That is a bug in Netscape Navigator. It should be fixed with the next version of Netscape Navigator. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it. As a workaround, you can drag and drop the report and the images onto the desktop.
